Summer Fun in Chama New Mexico

If you have a group event, large wedding or corporate retreat to plan, why not consider the Timbers at Chama?  The Timbers is s first class resort set in the foothills of the southern Rocky Mountains.  We are equipped to handle small, medium and some large groups up to 100 people.  Sleeping accommodations are offered in three on-site properties.  The Main Lodge is the centerpiece of the Timbers and features massive railroad timbers that give the Timbers at Chama its name.  It offers five comfortable suites with private baths, a large dining area, full commercial kitchen and outdoor deck with hot tub and fireplace.

Next to the Lodge is the guesthouse, an open floor-plan cabin with one bedroom and bath and its own deck.  A little further up the drive from the lodge you’ll find the spacious and comfortable Hacienda.  The Timbers Hacienda has four bedrooms and two full baths.  It can sleep up to 10 adults plus a couple of kids on roll-away beds.

All of the Timbers facilities share a common theme of rustic elegance!  There is wi-fi throughout the property and all the modern conveniences you would expect of s first class resort.

In addition to hosting your function, the Timbers can arrange for outdoor activities on the ranch and in the surrounding Chama River Valley.  Popular activities include horseback riding, wilderness hiking, and fishing the private waters of the Timbers and nearby leased ranch lands. In Chama, we can arrange for a ride on the amazing Cumbres & Toltec Scenic Railroad – the highest and longest steam rail trip in America.  Click here for a more complete article on activities in and around the Timbers at Chama.

The Timbers only accepts group event reservations.  This means you will have the complete property for the use of you and your guests.  So next time you need a great idea for a corporate retreat, wedding or other special event, please let us make this an event to remember!  You can contact the Timbers at Chama here.
