A few 2018 Elk Hunt dates still open! Call for details.
The Timbers at Chama has just a few Elk Hunts open on some of the most sought-after private hunting property in the southern Rocky Mountains. As you’ve probably noticed, the Timbers sells out quickly. For 2018 we were able to add about 50 more private land hunts to accommodate even more hunting friends. Most of those slots are gone now, but you still have time to take advantage of this once-in-a-lifetime hunting opportunity.
These elk hunts are no ordinary affair. We hunt exclusively on private land in New Mexico’s legendary Unit 4. This pristine wilderness consistently produces some of the biggest and healthiest bull elk in the country. At the Timbers we take pride in our style of hunting too. We strive for low impact hunting that shows respect for the wildlife and the wilderness they call home.
An elk hunt at the Timbers is an elk hunt in style, too. Our lodge provides exceptional creature comforts including well appointed rooms with private baths and a spacious living room with a large fireplace to warm up after a long day in the field. We look after all of your needs and desires and will provide three hearty meals to your order every day of the trip.
For hunters, we have slots open for both archery and rifle bull elk. These all hunting packages include luxury accommodations, local professional guides service, landowner elk tags, three great meals per day and local ground transportation. We can prepare your elk in our own processing shed or deliver it to a local game processor at your option. Every hunt with the Timbers is a custom hunt tailored for your satisfaction.
For the non-hunters in your group we will arrange daily activities like riding the Cumbres and Toltec Scenic Railway, horseback riding, flyfishing, mountain biking, wildlife photography or any of the many outdoor activities the Chama area has to offer.
We hope to see you soon for exciting 2018 elk hunting in Chama, New Mexico!
